Inauguration – Sound Engineering Course

XTECH – ELECTROCRAFT SOUND ENGINEERING COURSE INAUGURATION

The XTECH – ELECTROCRAFT One-Year Part-Time Certificate Course in Sound Engineering was inaugurated on Monday, July 15, 2019, and regular classes have commenced from July 17, 2019.

It was great to have the presence of Mr. Roger Drego, Managing Director of Electrocraft, fondly known as the “Sound Of India” on the occasion, whose vision is to impart relevant quality education and training to all those who aspire to make a mark in the field of Sound Engineering. Now that the course has commenced his dream is well on the way towards fulfillment and realization.

Fr. Errol D’Lima SJ, had lines of prayer and faith for a successful and fruitful journey through the course for all students. Fr. Fabian Baretto SJ, had words of motivation and inspiration for all present. Dr. Y. D. Venkatesh, Principal of XIE and Dr. Shivaji Ghungrad, Principal of XTECH, presented their views on the tremendous prospects and incredible opportunities in the Sound Engineering field.

Four faculty members from XIE, Mr. Panil Jain, Ms. Smita Pawar, Ms. Manali Tayade and Ms. Shailaja Udtewar, who will be conducting basic theory lectures and related practical experiences were present to interact with the students and provide them with a background of the scheduled teaching-learning activities.

Loads of thanks reach out to Mr. Prakash Salian (our Chief Accountant) for all the help that he extended for the inauguration function with the flower decorations, snacks, lamp arrangements, and lots of other things.

Of course, our first batch of students were very much present, and looking forward to exciting times ahead to celebrate the joy of excellence in a world of Sound Engineering at St. Xavier’s Technical Institute and Electrocraft facilities.
